FURY ROAD Deepfake Video — GeekTyrant

In the latest deepfake video that I’ve come across, Mel Gibson replaces Tom Hardy in Mad Max: Fury Road. While Hardy was great in Fury Road, Mel Gibson was also the real Max Rockatansky, so it’s cool to see what he might have looked like in the film had he been young enough to reprise the role.

The video was created by Shamook, and here’s the note that came along with the video:

Though the last Mad Max movie opened back in 1985, Mel Gibson is still synonymous with the franchise. He played the leading role of Mad Max Rockatansky in the 1979 original, the sequel in 1981 and the third installment Beyond Thunderdome. With Fury Road 2 coming out later this year, Tom Hardy of Bane fame is replacing Gibson in the role and the original actor won’t be popping up in any sort of capacity. But he could have, and he almost did.
